A Community’s Significance
What would be the significance of a Community in general? Well there are few reasons a Community is beneficial:
– Creates Synergy for better progress
– Provides a valuable platform for feedback
– Allows like minded individuals to share and exchange ideas
– Creates a sense of common purpose and vision
Taking the above into account, a Community becomes more relevant for affiliates or agents who are looking to promote an online business product or service. I mentioned in this video blog one of the factors in finding an online business is looking for a great community!
What Should an Online Community provide?
If there is a online product or service you can promote as a business and you find it has a community, look out for the following factors to ensure the Community is of value:
- Individuals are able to have easy access to each other; there should be no restriction amongst members unless it is based on the membership level if there are different tiers
- The Community should have Social Media forums such as Facebook pages, Online based forums
- Members should be able to access other members with more experience of promoting the product or service so that ideas can be freely exchanged
NB. An online Community should not be used as a platform for promoting some other product or service; if this is the case the Community is not a good community for the Online Product or Service You Promote!
